Summer 2021 (Part 1)

Kayaking at Rawdon

I am not really the type to always go out, especially in the summer. I was used to just staying home, finding things to do and go out with family from time to time. However, this year was different.

I’ve always dreamt of traveling after graduation, but because of the pandemic, I had to put that dream aside, for now.

Quarantine this past year made me realize that we should enjoy the moment and go out and explore what the world can offer us. Before, I would always rather stay home because

1. I was lazy.

2. I would be saving money

3. I was/am an introvert and didn’t want to face people

While I am still an introvert, I built up the confidence to socialize with others and go out more.

Honestly, I’ve never had so much fun this summer. I got to spend a lot of time with my family and created a stronger bond with my brothers.

Even though I spent a lot more money, it was all worth it because of all the great memories I’ve created with the people I love.

Sometimes, you don’t need to go to expensive resorts or go to a different country to be happy. Just by surrounding yourself with people you love and who love you is just as good, or even better!

I’ll be sharing more about activities I did this summer. Stay tuned!
